About Meadowland…

Oregon-made, handcrafted simple syrup to sweeten your tea, cocktails or mock-tails! Meadowland uses locally harvested and organic ingredients whenever possible. Non-GMO, no artificial colors.

Meadowland is a collaboration between Katie and Kathy, based out of Bend, Oregon. Both work together to develop unique and delicious flavors that are deeply inspired by Katie's rural upbringing on the prairie. They hope their simple syrups conjure feelings of joy, wonder, and warm memories of summers past.

Red Fox - Earl Grey Tea and Orange Blossom Water

This blend comes from the first spring evening, a garden after the rain, and afternoon tea.

  • Tasting Notes: Rich Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Petrichor, Changing Seasons.

  • Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Earl Grey, Orange Blossom, Cream of Tartar.

Secret Garden - Passion Fruit and Hibiscus

This blend was inspired by warm, lazy days of tropical vacations spent on the islands listening to waves lap upon the white sandy beach.

  • Tasting Notes: Tart Passion Fruit, Island Breezes, Tropical Flowers, Golden Sun.

  • Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Passion Fruit, Hibiscus, Cream of Tartar.

Sweet Bird Collection

A sweet collection of 4 of their best selling simple syrups! Perfect in your cocktails, lemonade, sparkling water, or even baked goods! :) In this kit, you'll receive four 1 oz bottles of the following:

Oregon Black Bird: A velvet sky, the first-picked Marionberry, intrigue, evening breeze.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Oregon Marionberries, Black Pepper, Cream of Tartar.

Hummingbird: Soft rose, new love, morning sun, bright raspberries, child-like wonder.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Oregon Raspberries, Rose Water, Cream of Tartar.

Tanager: A first summer strawberry, a warm breeze and fresh basil.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Oregon Strawberries, Fresh Basil, Cream of Tartar.

Goldfinch: Morning sun, soft vanilla, birdsong, honeycomb, chamomile flowers.

Pink Lady: Summer sun, garden strolls, a fresh peach.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Peaches, Fresh Thyme, Cream of Tartar.

Prairie Sun: Sun-soaked prairie flowers, tart lemon, summer haze.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Lemon Juice, Water, Honeysuckle Flowers, Lemon Zest, Cream of Tartar.

Dusk: Lavender flowers, purple skies, rich black tea, warm summer evenings, mystery.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Black Tea, Lavender Flowers, Cream of Tartar.

Signature Blend: Meadow flowers, afternoon sun, bee pollen, nostalgia, light rain, prairie grass.

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Meadowsweet, Honeysuckle, Red Clover, Cornflower, Cream of Tartar,


Meadowland Cold Brew

INGREDIENTS​

  • 6 oz coffee (medium coarse grind)

  • 4 oz Goldfinch or Dusk simple syrup

  • 20 oz cold water

DIRECTIONS
Immerse ground coffee in cold water and allow to sit overnight. Filter out grounds and add desired simple syrup. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Add concentrate with equal parts milk or water.

Ruby Throated Orgeat

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 oz toasted almond milk (see below)

  • 4 oz sugar

  • 4 oz Hummingbird simple syrup

  • 1 tsp cognac

  • 1 tsp amaretto

DIRECTIONS
In a large, dry saucepan, toast 1/2 cup of blanched, sliced almonds over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until golden brown. Transfer to a blender and add 1 cup + 1 tbsp of water. Pulse until almonds are finely chopped, then blend for 2 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth lined sieve.

Combine almond milk, sugar and hummingbird and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add cognac, and amaretto. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Storm Cellar (NA Modification)

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz Rishi Blueberry Hibiscus Tea (Chilled)

  • 1 oz Hibiscus Sparkling Water

  • ½ oz Secret Garden simple syrup

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • lemon peel


DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients except lemon peel to iced glass. Shake until full dilution. Strain into a chilled glass. Express oil from lemon peel and apply to the rim of the glass, then dispose of the peel.

First Day of Summer (NA Modification)

INGREDIENTS

  • 6oz Reed’s Ginger Beer

  • .5 oz Tanger simple syrup

  • .75 oz fresh lime juice

  • strawberry garnish


DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to shaker tin with ice. Shake until very cold. Strain into chilled glass and garnish with strawberry.

Last Day of Summer (NA Modification)

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ oz Ritual Zero Proof gin alternative (available at Blind Shot Social Club)

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1 oz Four Elements Joy, Love, and Passion tea (chilled)

  • ½ oz Hummingbird simple syrup

  • 6 raspberries


DIRECTIONS
Add 5 raspberries and Hummingbird syrup to shaker tin and muddle. Add remaining ingredients (reserving one raspberry) and ice then shake until full dilution. Strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice and garnish with remaining raspberry.
